Super E News!!!

Next Race is October 1st  at Las Vegas,  sponsored by Cox Performance, $1200 or more to the winner with a 12 car minimum. This race is pivotal in our Edelbrock/K&N Filters Points Championship with 3 team tied in points, and a handful of others that could take it away from the front runners … The So Cal vs. Arizona race is still in the planning stages, we’re working on a format that’s fair to both associations but not to affect our final points challenge… more details in the September newsletter.

We’re extremely saddened at the passing of Super Eliminator racer, Garry Jennings on July 6th 2005, he is a tough competitor and a good friend … you will be missed and remembered for a lifetime.

At the last race 7 & 8 at Fontana, we had 24 car fields on Saturday and Sunday, Car counts are rising and new racers to Super Eliminator are stepping up. Thanks to Mondello Performance and Clay Smith Cams for their support and sponsorship of these two races, and to Clay Smith Cams for their support and Bonus award Certificates. We would like to welcome new racers to our series, Courtney Force, Bobby Cottrell, Jack Brand and returning racers, Andy Spiegel, David Cerny, Kyle Rizzoli and Harold Owens.

Thanks to all racers for their cooperation with the new board and race director Shelly Welch whom did do an outstanding job again of managing the race …

Rule Tweaks: Starting next season, there will no more refund policy, once entered, your in for the day,  the current system is creating problems with points and payouts …

Also, make sure you have all the sponsor decals and the SE Association decals on your car, we will strictly enforce this, it’d be a shame to win a race and not get paid for the lack of decals.
