There are a few changes this year in our rules ... Read Carefully
- We will be starting "Team Points System", Before the teams first race of the season, SCSE must have a list of drivers, the maximum number of drivers is three
- If any of the drivers of the team participates in a SCSE race at the same time as the rest of the team, The team will now split off and may not return as a team for the rest of the season and the points already earned will be split up.
- NO Substitute drivers allowed.
- You may use a different car.
- Nitro and Nitrous Oxide are allowed in SCSE Events, (except in last years Az vrs So Cal SE Shootout
- Anything will be allowed as long as the car can pass the tracks tech.
- Open Headers are always allowed, and recommended, mufflers are not mandatory
A refund policy was in effect for the past 2 years but was causing problems. Starting in the 2006 season, there will be no refunds
once you enter and everyone is required to pay their entry before the first qualifying run.
The only exceptions will be if you arrive late and have to hurry to make your pass, be we do expect you to pay up as soon as the round is over.
Starting in 2007, the points structure will revert back to the old system, We should have 9 events and you must throw away one events points,
As an extra incentive, those who attend all scheduled races, will recieve a "Perfect Attendance " bonus of 10 points.
Year End points and payout's will be based on a total accumulation from nine events on the schedule.

Also, starting at our next race (6-22-06) SCSE will implement RUN CARDS, alternating running in each lane, if there is more than 2 qualifying passes, the choice will be yours to make unless directed by staging control. This new rule is necessary as we have a few racers going into our lanes to make passes, with no intention of signing up with the club, this makes an unfair advantage to them against the others they race against. Run Cards are available when you sign in to the SCSE, if you do not have your run card, you will be directed out of the lanes, so make sure to bring it with you.
SCSE Decals must be visibly on both sides of the race car before first round of eliminations
or you will not be given point's and prize money. (yes, we do check) ,Edelbrock, K&N Filters and Clay Smith Cams decals also must be visible in all rounds to receive their respective bonus awards.
For the Contingency programs, you will need to be using the claimed product, one of the board members will inspect and sign off on the claim form
and it's your responsibility to send in the forms. Below is a listing of the current contingency offers.
Edelbrock (money award) $200 to win, $100 to runner up for each product.
Mike Transmission (gift cert) $50 to win, $25 to runner up, product and decal required.
Starfighter Motorsports is donating 5 gallons of race fuel at each SCSE event to the person with the best reaction light
in eliminations, win or loose.
